On the phone with one of life's smaller irritants. Can't log into an online account and I need to update my credit card to keep it active. The helpful guy on the other end is young and patient. But even he has his limits. He tries to get a supervisor to handle my problem but can't find anyone.
Finally he says, um, do you have any other family member at home with you right now?
Like a 13 year old grandson, I ask, knowing what he is getting at. He thinks all this is my ineptitude.
Finally, after the good part of an hour the problem is resolved. Turns out at least part of my problem was the browser, Mozilla Firefox. I go to Google chrome and it is resolved.
