We dreaded the drive up north but Florida was getting worse and worse. Friends were saying, Get OUT! With the driving help of our sons, we only stopped one night.
Then the fun began. Trying to organize, manage, deal with the myriad of issues after being away for almost 8 months
Still, we are the lucky ones. My husband works from home and we can control our interactions with the larger community.
This is not going away any time soon, if ever.
